Ladies and Gentleman, fanboys and fangirls, mangakas and otakus, i have an announcement to make:
Mu life is officially back...PARTY TIME!
Sure enough, just when i get back my ability to live again, my two friends leave town, go figure. *sigh* ill just have to annoy them through electronic links (i.e. cellphone and computer).
So, what's been up with me? well, i got all my finals at school done, i turned in my submissions to UT and UNT, (f*** SH), and ive been casted in a musical called "murder me always." *sigh* ive missed theatre so much, im very eager about learning my lines! I wont let you down Sensei! Im playing trixie, the assistant director who's actually an undercover cop. She aims to please but wont take anyones Bullsh**. I likeie, i likie. So, my friends, Trixie is gonna be a badass red-head.
speaking of which i learned something today. Apparently, The Irish were the European "negro's" in terms of discrimination and slavery. I never knew this, and in a way, this made me feel very right. No, i dont mean i feel like I'm a slave to be looked down upon by society. You see, every time in history class when we go over the slavery years and the civil rights movement and stuff, and i see all the horrible things that happened to African Americans, i always wondered in despair, "what if one of my ancestors was a slaveholder? or a white devil? or a KKK?" but during my discussion with my vocal coach today, she told me about this book called "How the Irish became white" meaning, Irish people were the "blacks" of Europe. When the irish came to America, they were treated just as lowly, and because of their circumstances, lived in communities with african americans, and the two ethnicities were comerades in discrimination. My ancestors are mostly irish, which means they weren't slaveholders, or KKK, or anything bad to African Americans. They were their friends, and brothers, and knowing that makes me feel worlds better. Now i wanna go find the book and read it. Sounds interesting.
Me and

have this theory, that Red heads in Japanese stereotyping, are badasses. Think about it, not that all red-heads in anime are that way, but how many characters from various anime who drink/smoke/are stubborn/are hot-tempered/get violent/get even/shoot stuff/etc? several names come to mind for me. Gaara (violent), Renji (hot tempered), General Cross Marian (all of the above), heh, im not even gonna try naming them all. I just wonder if it's true.
Thanks for the fav!

I get home and the first thing I do is order that pizza I craved so much. They promised 30 minutes or less, but even that small amount of time seemed to go on for an eternity.
Then, finally, I hear a sound at the door. There stands a man, glistening and glowing. He holds a small box, inside it I assume to be my satisfaction.
I give the kind soul the fee for my prize along with a more than generous tip. I slam the door and rip open the top to see my pizza, beautiful and delicious, staring me in the face.
Carefully, I pick up the first piece. It did not bend nor flop as I edged it towards my mouth. As I clamped my mouth down around the hot, cheesy, goodness, I could feel my legs cripple from the shear power of the amazing taste of this culinary masterpiece.
That first bite, my dear friend, it's you.In my opinion, this is exactly how I feel when I see that you have 'faved' a piece of my artwork.
In other words, thank you. It's bites of pizza like you that get me through every day.
------------------------------
So, I was walking around town today looking for inspiration. I have been rather lethargic here of late so you can assume I have no will to create.
I live in an area where the sky is blue and green land stretches over the horizon as far as the eye can see. There is almost no traffic and, in truth, the only sounds I can hear come from the nature around me.
I walked and walked with a piece of paper at my hip and a pencil in my ear for what seemed to be hours simply searching for said inspiration. I looked to the vast sky above my head. The colors were changing from sea blue to a blazing yellowish-orange, the clouds scrapping the sky with a majestic blush red accent.
Even this miracle in nature could not perk my interest. Then, something caught my eye as I looked down to the ground below my feet.
What I saw was a small, tan, fungus. A mushroom, to be exact. My mind was flooded with shear awe and inspiration from this seemingly insignificant piece of work. My heart felt as if it would burst from the pure emotion flowing into my body.
Almost as quickly as I saw it, I sat down and began my work on this phenomenon in nature.
That, my friend, is the feeling I get from looking at that umbrella shaped fungus is the same feeling I got when I saw you faved a piece of mine. So, thank you kind Deviant. Though in your mind you may feel insignificant at times and under appreciated, in my personal opinion, are just as great if not greater than the sky itself.
You, in my mind, are as amazing as the mushroom beneath my feet.
